Passing the Live Oak Test

Before we decided to offer MercuryCast service to our customers, Live Oak Hosting and Live Oak 360 used the software for our own email and newsletter blasts. At the time, we were only actually thinking about filling a need that we had for sending out large email blasts and our monthly newsletters.
We started using it in March of 2007, and have enjoyed its ease of use, customizable templates, and useful campaign reports. It wasn’t until over a year later — when one of our clients asked about what they could use to do something similar — that we realized others could also find it useful.
That was when we decided to come up with the MercuryCast service. Many other services require a monthly fee, which you pay whether you mail anything out or not. MercuryCast is different: you only pay when you actually send out a mail or newsletter campaign.
As soon as your campaign is sent, you can check your statistics online at any time during the campaign. You can even see how your different campaigns compare over time to help you determine just how effective they are. This can help you refine your marketing efforts and identify those companies or individuals most interested in your services. You can even pre-program follow-up emails based on activity in your previous campaigns! How cool is that!?!
